City driving I get about 11.6-12.0 l/100km (most of that is burned off on King Street in peak hour :x ) - so I get about 450-500km per tank
Highway, the best I have achieved is 7.2 l/100km
Overall average for the last 10,000km is sitting on 11.6 l/100km

Car is an auto 07' GT-B with modified intake, cat-back & intercooler and a HP-F tune

When I lived in southbank my average fuel consumption was 13-14l/100km over 1400km, felt like i was getting 350km per tank

Now its around 12.2 avg with more freeway driving

i usually get at least 400-475 and i always drive in S or S#, if I use freeway i frequently get 550-600.the most ive gotten out of a full tank is 743 which got me from the ACT back home to greensborough plus a couple days suburban driving.

HoW I envy a few of your economies!

Last tank I only got 325 out of it! Something around the 16L/100km mark. May have to do with first week owning the car

Hoping to improve this with a tune down the track. Also riding to work will help make my fuel last haha!
mod -> tune -> drive -> get bored -> repeat...

I'm luckly, Eastlink to and from work from start to finish, I would get easily 600km per tank, only problem is that there is only one servo on Eastlink and its for Northbound traffic so I have to fill up on the way to work if I'm running low. Must admit I didn't check the consumption from Sydney when I brought her home but I only filled up once and by memory it was still half full, having been filled up when we where picked up from the airport and them doing some km's around Sydney.

I just bought a MY07 tb STI bit over a week ago with 63,000kms
Trip computer hasn't been reset in a while and fuel consumption is 13.6L/100kms over the last 8000kms. The car was owned by someone in Melbourne (serviced @ Subaru Docklands + Mentone) so I'm guessing unlikely to be mainly country kms.

When I fill up (twice already - been driving a lot and hammering in S# when possible) it says 550kms til empty. I think 550 is optimistic, but 450 doesn't seem unreasonable.
Only thing which drops it for me is driving cold and take-offs. Once warm it cruises between 2L - 10L most of the time. I think Intelligent mode may be more fuel taxing than S# as it requires revving a lot higher to get moving at the lights.

Not sure if mine has any mods. A tune / dump pipe is possible, but I have no idea.
it does have 2 stainless cat back canons on the back with twin 2.5-3" pipes, but they're very quiet and only make a bit of a nice sound over 4000RPM. There was a brand underneath which I didn't recognise - may have been Japanese?
I wouldn't mind getting more noise out of these (without modifying much) if anyone reading has ideas.

Car goes really well - smashed a newish Golf GTI the other day before I was familiar with the car (never owned a turbo before and haven't had a manual in almost 10 years). Despite losing he had a huge grin on his face :D

I definitely got better economy after my Lib was tuned for 98 Octane.

Best economy I got was driving from Hornsby to Newcastle (averaged 7.8l per 100km.)

I average about 450 to 500 km per tank (bottom line of gauge) which includes a fair bit of spirited driving.

Best I got out of a tank was 650km (freeway) and it was running on vapours (put 63 litres in afterwards).

I never use I mode at all. Mostly S mode as the auto gear changes are better for the street. S# is only for spirited drives.

I average 7.6ltrs/100ks on freeway driving and have got 780ks out of a tank driving back from VIC. This is stock standard tune and all. With a tune it improved by around .2 on average with freeway driving. Doesn't matter whether S or I, fuel economy is the same on freeway.

Around town averaging 12-14ltrs/100ks with plenty of throttle. Average 11.9ltrs/100ks mixed mostly city.

Mine's just dropped from 13.6 to 13.4L/100kms (over past 8000kms) after a week of driving.
Tank says 550kms to empty when I fill it.

I have a Fujitsubo exhaust fitted; otherwise all stock

I've noticed that it gets the best fuel economy in S# in 3rd or 4th gear at 80kms/h - around 5-8L/100kms under acceleration
Switching to "Intelligent" or dropping down to 5th gear at 80+kms actually increases consumption(?!) Seems to operate best (most punchy and fuel efficient) at 2800-3200 revs where the turbo is just/almost kicking in.
Wierd!

Driving 40km each way to work through traffic (no freeway) each day i'm averaging 9.8-10L/100km, driving in S# the whole time.

Lucky to get 300km out of a tank....welcome to Eastern Suburbs, do a few longer runs anywhere else and
the economy gets a lot better. Usually says 320 or 310 to empty.

That's shithouse fuel economy. Do you drive it hard all the time and leave it in 2nd?

That's great economy - maybe I need to get the dump pipe!

Filled up today and economy dropped to 450kms to empty :(

A "tank" is a pretty poor measure of economy for obvious reasons; maybe we should stick to posting our measurements in litres/100kms as measured by the trip computer only so we can compare accurately.

+1. Some people class a tank as 1/4 left, others when the fuel light comes on and others class a tank of fuel of when the car splutters and requires a jerry can to fill her back up.
