Cpits i can tell you with 100% convenience all you'll get from the factory injectors fitted to a 2.5L Turbo Liberty on shell 98 with a A/R reading of 11.9 and 280L/h Sard pump with a idle pressure (800 odd rpm) of 34psi at 100% IDC is 217KW@wheels

Appreciate the info. Also, great to have the part # for ref!!

Was this figure taken on a Dyno dynamics dyno? If so, that'd make good sense as it compares directly with the numbers I've been advised on a dyno that reads in the vacinity of 15-20kW higher than DD dynos (as mentioned in earlier posts).

Dont forget - the 217kw Phat quoted is at 100% IDC and is also running an aftermarket pump, so if you are saying the figures matchup with the example you set earlier on a dyno that reads 15-20 higher (which gives your 230-240kw). Then you'd also assume that car is running at 100% IDC, if is has stock injectors (but would also need to be running a better than stock pump)

Sit back and watch the fireworks :D

I think we all know that figure of 240 was just bullshit.

 no point beatin' round the bush Tony

I think I should have initially put the range factor in there that I've stated previously as it would make more sense and apply to a wider range of dynos. But for the majority of Dyno's, yep, that figure would most likley be way too high and at max IDC with fuel system upgrades. So, I'll change my initial statement to 225-240kW depending on dyno and fuel system upgrade.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing and as is always the case with these kinds of inconsistent measureing devices (between vendor, software revs, env conditions, etc) , I should have given a range for an answer no a fixed number.

Just seemed pretty pointless to continue discussing the semantics and details of a figure that was plainly wrong.

Perhaps the bs wasn't as over-rated as thought. Either way, proof is always in the pudding. I'm still waiting on word back from Steve Coates (AVO) and some graphs to match. Between the 2 we should be able to get a more accurate figure.

Top feed Densos.

I "think" they are 560cc @ 43.5psi.

Thankyou now I can have a think about the upgrade. I would suggest 650's as a minimum for 250kw.

[/quote]*Just a note there is a pump (made in Japan that is a direct replacement for the Libertys and is the only one on the market that clips in) (YES CLIPS IN unlike other subies) and you wont hear a thing unlike when you have to butcher a waljunk in there

And I can buy this pump from?????? You? or somewhere else. Share the love

Could ebay seller be rounding out flow to 600cc?
