my experience: both using moroso and killer b setup

after upgrading my oil pan, oil pick up and related bits...and comparing it to my oem one....thank god I did...the way the oem pick up is constructed? it's farking shite.....so weak...and brittle..

oil pick up is the biggest FAIL...

pan
windage
etc

Is it worth upgrading the pan as well as the pickup? I would have ordered the killer b pickup if my car wasn't already in pieces at Subaru. Oh well I'll just wait a few years and upgrade before my replacement one fails.

I'm considering a getting an oil pressure gauge now. The oil pressure light is completely pointless based on how little pressure there has to be before it turns on (and it doesn't even throw a CEL when it does!). I think in my case the pickup hadn't failed completely so maybe I would have picked up on a drop in oil pressure sooner. I reckon my pickup probably didn't break in two until they pulled it off the car.
