Haven't tried the ISF, guess it hasn't drawn me in.

Have tried a few french cars but got put off by the resale & the fear of tacky interiors.

The VW R is only FWD yes? I guess I have seen so many OS for the past few years that it doesn't seem new to me.

I like the idea of trying a BRZ but that will be a wait.

I've owned a B4 & have had this one since 2010, I just can't get my head around the Gen5 look, or is this just me?

I've heard French cars are shithouse for build quality and reliability. The ISF looks sex but I've never been in one or driven it. It took a while for Volkswagen to bring us the Scirocco but fuck me!! Horn!!!

BRZ looks sweet I reckon, if I don't get an STI next it will be a BRZ. The Gen 5 wagon is growing on me, but the sedan is still too Toyota

And seeing there are a few around with low kms you could probably get the price down.
Or if you wanted to go up to 50000kms you could take $20k off that price.

I find the RS4 attractive but now a little long in the tooth, also the B7 stopped being made in 2008, I think?

I'm happy to buy a car up to a year old, usually as I want to avoid the initial depreciation.

Won't Audi be offering up a new one soon?

Has anyone mentioned the C63. I see a few everyday around work and I reckon they sound fantastic.

Similar price range to the Audi.

Any thoughts?

If it were me it would be one of the following for a MY2010+ car:

B8 Audi S4 - around about the $100k mark but it's hard to find manuals.
BMW 335i sedan - can be had for under $100k but again there aren't many manuals around.

You generally have to pay a bit more for a C63 AMG of the same age, and I don't like the styling of them as much.

Actually I like the new Jag XJ too but they are expensive. The XF is not bad though for a much more reasonable price.

Yeah, the last RS4 was 08. There have been a number of spy shots of apparent test cars of the new model over the past few months, so hopefully the new one is not too far away.
The new model S4 is available though. Not sure when the MY12 is available. Presumably now? There are demo model MY11's around.

Or an MY11 S6 if you prefer the big engine.

Not sure when the new RS6 is out either as 2010 was the last of those.

Wondering if it is worth waiting for a face lift on the Gen5 liberty?

If I want an AWD fairly quick vehicle around the size of a Liberty; is my only option the Audi?

Different kind of car really but very nice daily with all that low torque.
