Tangent time! What if money wasn't an issue? Is there a larger turbo that has similar spool times to the VF52 or is the VF52 pretty good?

I do understand the basic physics of why a bigger turbo lags :P

If money wasn't an issue, I would stick a 3.8 litre 911 Variable vane turbo engine and PDK gearbox in the lib.

Better yet, I would stick my liberty floor mats in the 911 Turbo and call it a modded Liberty.

An 'old style' BNR TD05-16g(there new style is closer to an 18g lag) and the TD05-16g can generate 19psi boost at 2800rpm while being capable of holding 18psi boost at rev limiter once new injectors are in. That is nearly VF46 spool but can outflow the VF52 everywhere...

Actually even if money was an issue I'd save and put the lib mats in an AMG or an E46 or E90 M3 and call it an modded lib myself.

My liberty out runs all those cars in factory form (around a track).
E46 I can pretty much run circles around

That sounds fun, they don't seem overly expensive either... $750 for the core swap, could get a S/H VF46 for $200ish... Any reason they're not more popular?

So you're saying you'd prefer to keep your Lib over a C63, E90 M3, E92 M3 or E46 M3.

I'd also like a Porsche but require a car with a carrying capacity of 5 people.

Haha no. I'd take c63 and e92. But e46 I would choose my lib unless it has an ess supercharger bolted on

I don't even need to look at the link to know which ones they are. I've had my eye on the blue one for a few weeks now. I may lowball him 40k and see what he says
