No need for intake temp sensors

I logged mine using romraider when I had a top mount - this was in September last year so not hot. 9pm 22 degrees ambient temp. After cruising for fifteen minutes to do some logs and pulls (no Rome not the type you're thinking of).

Intake temp 38 degrees

Front mount, early April - same thing. Ambient temp 20 degrees. Intake temp 19 degrees on idle and as low as 12 degrees on freeway

Cant beat that for proof

Water methanol mix still wins

How would a waterspray kit combined with a TMIC impact intake temps?

I'm looking at getting one installed at the moment for the summer, and wondered if anyone had any definitive results here.

It will help, as heat will transfer better, therefore cooler intake temps, still nothing close to the cooling capacity, flow, ability of a FMIC, but it will help a little.

Science killed religion, and is now after your TMIC's ;) (yes i do this on purpose)

I think if you search someone did a test regarding this...but there is definitely some info on this on the legacy forums (legacygt.com) if you can bother browsing

I had a water spray kit on my b4. To tell you the truth didnt make any difference. Only maybe on mega hot days. But the interwarmer was only good once going. If i sat at a set of lights too long it would be hot as hell and it would ping its ass off. Super happy my fmic is just around the corner.
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

Hey guys. So I've spent the last few weeks reading up on FMIC's as its one of my next mods.

I'll be look at around 230-240kwatw once I go FMIC 19psi and 100octane.

My FMIC question is would 2.5" inlet and 2" out's be ok?
I'll be doing 2.5" piping from the turbo to the FMIC...
Can I run 2.5" piping off the 2" FMIC outlet? Or should I run 2" piping?
