I have been driving my car too much in S# manual mode.

How can they wear out?

It's just a switch in the steering column. Need to get a new switch.

Yeah from what i can tell its 7500 rev limiter..... i try not to take my eyes off the road at that speed though so im not 100% certain

Its an unopened engine. MSR - who tuned the car, is known for being a subaru guru and he assures me its not anything to worry about, so im going to trust him. He's suggesting lifting the rev limiter, however i think id still rather him stop it from happening.

Ive always left it in drive when in sport sharp as i thought it did a better job than the paddles.. but tonight i gave it a squirt with the paddle shift and hit the up-shift paddle at about 5000rpm and with the delay in change it changed at about 6000-6500rpm which turned out to be faster as it kept it in the better power range. I think it will be the way to go in the future i just have to learn to hit the paddle a second or 2 before i actually want to change.
