OK, been a stupidly busy few days, and my camera SD card had a wobbly, sorry for th delay.
Its installed and running amazingly, just waiting on 2 new silicone pipes to turn up in the mail so i can put the fog lights back in.

Here are a few pics, i will do a full write up once i have foggies in, and some time to detail exactly whats needed.

Its an off the shelf job mate, only $700ish to your door.

No fitment issues, just need to new silicone joins so i can put my foggies back in.

And due to science, the car is more fun to drive now.

Only plastic from the bar, not noticeable, justa stanley knife and 10mins of being careful.

Nice mate. I like how it fits past the battery nice and snug down there but its a little ruff where it goes onto the turbo and intake manifold.

But for $700 new that is a sweet deal.

im guessing you where trying to find one that kept the crash bar thing?

Yeah, the turbo bolt on bit could be cleaner, ill make one up later down the track.
This is the first gen4 FMIC i have done, so i wanted off the shelf. Done many top GC8/RS, but there old, and you dont mind cutting them up
And yeah didnt want to upset the crash bar, the cars too new, and although extremely unlikely, i wouldnt want a defect in a crash, this will pass any engineers shop no drama. And the core is more then enough for what im chasing, maths says can do 250kw atw easy.

When my new silicone bits turn up, and i have time(yeh right) ill redo it and get some better pics, and do a full write up.

but for the money you just cant go past it. After doing this i could do it again in a few hours instead of the better part of a day.

Would you say there is a chance that the airbox would fit? How about the engine cover? shouldn't be anything restricting this.

Are the pipes lipped?

All the pipes are lipped. So there not popping off, not with tbolt clamps done up properly.
The kit is cheap, and works fine, i had hoped for much more time over the weekend, but it didnt happen, ill get the temp sensor in there this weekend, and get some readings.

If you buy this kit its good, but i would also buy the following, which i have:
2 x 2.5 90deg long arm silicone bends
1x 2.75-2.5 45deg silicone reducer

Reason for this is you put the 2.75-2.5 onto the TB to get rid of the stock one, and the 2.5's for retention of the fog lights.

I dont think ill paint it, i wont get any trouble from the cops for this, and if you know cars, the scoop gives it away as turbo already.

Once i do a few more things i "might" get it engineered, but i really do not think its necissary.
