What gear was this run done it ? That's a very important factor to be considered !

Adam, are you going to post where it was tuned and what it was tuned with (ie- OpenECU or EcuTek)?

Sorry Jim i left work for the day and to be honest i dont think he will know the answer to that.. he isnt too familiar with the car industry.. just likes to get things done. But i will at least find out where he got it done and that will lead us to the type of tuning software.

he got it done at MRT and i drove his car and it actually goes pretty damn hard and so much more responsive.. i hate to say it but besides being overpriced the car feels decent..

i have yet to compare to any other cars being tuned out there but in comparison to my car, his one goes well..

I took the "then decided to get a tune done" to mean he had the TBE fitted elsewhere, so my 2K guess was for tune only

Gear makes little to no difference as far as power is concerned. Torque will change. Power at the wheels/hubs will not

exhaust was done elsewhere and tune cost him $2100 all up.. not bad

i think the ECUtek software cost him the most... and the actually tune was only $700 odd dollars..
im interested in his results as some of u know my ECU is already loaded with this software and unable to remove it causing me trouble finding a place to tune... but after seeing his results it doesnt look too bad..

If your ecu is already locked with the ecutek then the key for you is finding a good tuner who uses ecutek.
