Bloody great post

You could, in theory I suspect, tune the ECU to know that a sudden closure of the throttle that the BOV may have operated, to adjust fuel mixes for a period of time after the throttle opened again and thus to inject less fuel (to counter the fact that there's less air in the intake).

This has been experimented when my car had a 50/50 BOV. Couldnt get it right, car drove like shit, especially getting back on the throttle after a gear shift. I have since blanked off the vent port and it solved all the issues.

I really wanna see alexei's racecar...

Edit, slightly less angry now: It can be done without loss of power or stalling. Now for totally eliminating richness, a perfect tune, and slightly less pain in the ass, just get a secondary sensor or move the maf.

Otherwise speed density is probably the only way to go. But that's not for everyone, because of its limitations...

good advice in here, and some other :)
in all honesty i would lower it, rear swaybar.
exhaust, intake and retune it.

for the love of god stay the fu>k away from MRT, the previous owner of my car went there, for a retune and exhaust they charged $6000, yup, triple what it should cost at max.

the stock tune can be made very good with all other things left alone bar breathing on intake and exhaust.
