Perfect combo would be serge on the engine, mick on the setup and fitment, and coyote on the tune

Speaking of which - when's serge getting his 2.5 short blocks together - I spoke to him about this more than 18 months ago.

I have a fair idea what Michael does with his cars as whenever we speak we are almost always thinking exactly the same thing.

I do not doubt the quoted power figures, nor that others cannot achieve them with similar reliability.

Lots of postFLs coming off leases now meaning new owners gagging to lay on the mods when most of these Libs will require rectification of various forms of service and owner abuse.
That's certainly been my experience so far.
Mine ran like shite till I sorted the maf, OCV's, tune and to an extent the suspension.

Revzone has just informed me that my car was on the RTR dyno with a FAT exhaust leak from the headers. The crack runs the whole diameter of the join and the only reason I haven't been able to hear it is because my screamer pipe blocks out every other noise on the planet. Not sure if it's 20kw worth of leak..but the car definitely hasn't been running right and hopefully this is the cause.

Before anybody asks, no I'm not getting any additional mods or a retune at Revzone. Just fixing my whining power steering pump and replacing my plugs with lower heat range ones.

Weld. I don't wanna be spending more money on this car at this stage. It will be up for sale as soon as I have solved the mystery of the disappearing 20kws

Dear OP,

I liked your idea of selling the VF52. Sell it, and take your car to Mick at G88, let him choose what's right for your car and have peace of mind that it will kick ass every day of the week.

On the headers you sold me!

Just below one of the joins. I can't really be any more specific as I only took a brief look. There was soot everywhere around the crack and I didn't really wanna touch it so I just told them to pull it off and weld it up. (I had chopped off all the heat shields cuz they rattled like crazy)

Well it wasn't there when you had it installed, clearly :)

Must be the way you Mexicans drive. Or you're undulating weather patterns which has caused metallurgical chaos on my poor old twin scroll headers :(
