So who wants to buy my HKS panel filter?

I have an unused unifilter one going cheap too (sold by MRT)

Shav. Does it make a difference? Or rather increased intake noise with a whoosh when you let off the pedal?

Was in Bezza's yesterday. Loved the whoosh haha. He has the K&N panel filter I think.

All of the oil based filters evenly foul the air flow sensors and cause the engine to idle rough.

Yeah my mechanics have said that too. But but the sound from the K&N ones are awesome.. **wears flame suit**

Yes the hks gives off a more audible whooshing noise when u let off the pedal. A bees dick difference in throttle response in conjunction with the tune. Overall you get more buzz from the sound. But finding the car loves the colder air. Coincidental?
Cheers

Cold air is denser, and has more oxygen in it for the volume, than warmer air. Your ECU will note the temperature (via intake temp sensor) and mass (via the MAF), and know it can run either more timing (cold air resists predetonation better) or more fuel - so you'll get more torque/power.
