Haha yeah I saw that there is cheapish supercar hire. However its a touch more than I wanted to spend... plus the deposit would be massive id imagine :lol:

You would probably come home with some hefty speeding fines too!

I hired a yellow Chev Camaro ("Bumblebee" from Transformers) for $120 pday in LA, which included the highest level of insurance possible. Was only a v6 though but looked great!
At the time convertible Mustangs were only about $55-65 pday + insurance. Lambos / Ferarris were around $500 pday in LA/Miami. This was Aug 2011.
Car hire is much cheaper than here. A v8 convertible Mustang is probably the best option for something different at a reasonable price (under $150 incl insurance?)
