Postby DLBSPC » Thu Jul 14, 2011 2:48 am

Hey guys, long time. Listen I'm on deployment at the moment and my missus has written me an email saying that my engine light is on my cruise control light is flashing and my sport sharp light is on. Has anyone got any ideas as to what this might be. she has only driven it probably 200km in the last 2 months. Cheers guys appreciate it.

Any mods mate?

might be slight boost spike due to the cooler weather.

She could try the quick stop start method.

Turn the engine over a few times around 6 or so times, the fault might clear.

It would be best to visit a Mechanic so that the fault code could be downloaded, just to be sure it’s not anything major.
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

Mine did that after putting a CAI on, cleared as soon as i changed it back.
If it's broke use a cable tie!

mine did it too when I fitted a pod, easy fix though, just need 2 reset electricals, disconnect negative terminal from battery and wait 10min, then re connect and go 4 a 20min drive, that's how mine got fixed

Had this happen to me, turned out to be gunk stuck in CAM angle sensor. What I really needed to do was change the oil.

But I'd bet it was your missus sneaking off to a tuner and fitting a CAI on the car. ;-)...... sneaky women!
