modifaction with out flash tuning?

hi guys just wonder how badly it will thru my STOCK TUNE OUT if.
i add a custom CAI, Custom Turbo Back Exhaust, Machine out the throttle body n wind the bosst up 2 roughly 12psi??? i will eventually get it flashed or install a Haltech. i dont want if's n mayb's i need a tried n tested answer. thanks guys.

That would be winding down the boost

you will be 100% trouble free with out tuning with those mods if done right

Assuming you are for real, with those lists of mods I'd suggest yes it is necessary. If nothing else to reap the benefits of the mods. You can of course drive with light throttle to get you to a tuner.

But what do you mean by 12PSI?? I'd suggest you are running closer to 15PSI stock. Or did I just get pwned

Then tell us:

the specs of the CAI, including pipe diameter before and after the AFM

before and after flow rates of the TB

what on earth you are doing with the boost (they are 15psi peak, tapering back to 12 ... stock)

Hahaha Phat. I've just read what I wrote and yes, does sound like something MRT would say. "Yes, a panel air filter will require you to have an ECUDET tune. Just to be safe".

I just had my tuned yesterday @ chiptorque.

Mods:
Turbo back exhaust (Phat GT dump, custom centre, HiTech quads)
Apexi CAI
Hyperflow TMIC

Before the tune made 159kw atw.

After the tune...188.8kw atw.

They said you can drive it without a tune but depends on your CAI as it can muck up ur air fuel mixtures with the wrong one. They were impressed with the Apexi CAI. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I was happy with them. They had no other cars on so spent a few extra hours on it....and it was done in 4th gear, I am pretty sure most people do 5th gear runs with the 6speed?

depends on the tuner. Some use 4th, some use 5th. Doesn't make a noticeable difference to the power delivered at the treads
