2007 2.5i same fuel tank as Spec B t/b STI????

As the title reads....Are they the same fuel tank? I need to replace mine and found one at a wreckers for a 2.5i liberty and asked subaru if it would fit. He believes it would but couldn't confirm!

Does anybody know if it will be a straight swap?

just tell him that you'll bring it back if it's wrong..

Yeah, seems like too much effort to engineer a new tank just for the STI version.

I need the tank couriered from sydney to Gold Coast and if it doesn't fit, I can't return it back to the wrecker in Sydney. That is why I want to make sure.

If it does have a better one they sure don't advertise the fact! I imagine the only diff (if there is one) would be internal baffles.
