TD04HLA heat sheild?

Postby apg39 » Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:44 am

Hiiiiii

Doing a TD04HLA-19T swap onto my Forester...and naturally the stock heatsheild won't fit any more.

Did the Liberty's come with one from factory? know where there is an aftermarket one that fits (beanie or sheild)?

Cheers

Try drilling out the spot welds that separates the top of the cover from the bottom. The top should then fit on ok and you can wrap the PS hoses to protect them. This stiops most of the heat from warming up your intercooler. Makes it shed loads easier to get on and off as well.
