Have just purchased an HKS foam air filter and after a clean I am told they need re oiling.

I figure oils are oils aye so for this application what is a good cheap oil that could do the trick well? :D

Im also told that less oil is more with filters as any excess can clog flow sensors right?

If you're talking about those Hybrid HKS filters I'm pretty sure they don't need oiling.

:?:

Are you talking about oil in the filter itself? Or oil around the rubber surround to seal it better? But as Tek was saying, the HKS filters do not use oil and you will be destroying it if you add oil to it.
