SO far the car is working well and having 3rd gear power in 1st gear, means to you easily dispatch any car. Performance of the car is similar to a Stock STI with a Axle back exhaust :)

I have yet to feel the car, but hope too soon. Once the customer is happy, he is great. He ran a Legacy STI S402 and beat it from first gear till 3rd gear. Nice!!!

We want to go to stage 2 soon, but I will see as we seems to have some mechanical boost issues around 4000. This is the Twinscroll legacy. Not sure if the TGV valves are playing the fool, but she wakes up again at 4000rpm. We also need additional mods like the AVO TMIC, AVO Wastegate Actuator, AVO BOV and a High Flow panel intake filter. Brakes need upgrading now.

That's some nice results there!
These two points interest me:
  • Exhaust AVCS Tuning
  • Heavy Intake AVCS Tuning

Have you developed a set of AVCS maps that you use as a base, or have you only tuned one 2.0T? Reason I ask is I'm interested in improving low end torque with my ADM 2.0T and understand AVCS is where serious gains can be had...

The car was strictly custom tune. But it becomes a based for future cars as a starting point.

I really do not based tune. Each car is customed tuned to clients needs. So sorry if you are looking for a based map.

After that, its just boost, fuel and ign.

Tuning Experience, SATISFIED CUSTOMER!
by ScoobyTT » Fri Dec 04, 2009 2:00 pm

I was recommended to Edward by a friend of mine during a "car down" time, . I can laugh now but then I was nowhere near humored. I had opted to tune with a guy that clearly did not match up to his claims, nevertheless, Edward got me back up and running. And from there we kept in contact. Soon enough I was interested in original venture, tuning. I have to say, Edward is very knowledgeable, patient and professional. He has been able to share alot with me, and I am far from knowing nothing now as I was before, but still no where near to the teacher. I am very grateful for this information and knowledge, Well since we started tuning, I've never looked back. The car is TOTALLY different. My confidence in Edward has grown and is evident in the performance of my car and the grin on my face in WOT. I would easily recommend any enthusiast looking to tune on any level to Edward. Trust me, you're in great hands.

Excellent Tuning, Great Guy, Priceless advice = Satisfied Customer!

Thank you, but I would have wish you related more of your original problem and the eagerness of new "tuners", not willing to understand, but take people work and try to match it or as their own work. Even last night, I had to correct a problem of a friend where he allow some wanna be tuner to load a rom, making him frightened of the car poor performance.

That reminds me of tuning old multiple SU carbs. Everyone could have a fiddle but they were quite difficult to get spot on and if you messed it up they just plain sucked. A mate had a set on a GTR Torana, 70s Aus muscle car if you are not familiar with it with a 3.0 straight six, and it took us a while to get them sorted as they there were three of the buggers. Took them to one supposed 'expert' and they ran like dogs, took them to an old Torana racer and bang on and stayed in tune to.

I have a WRX friend from the old days, although he just turn 40....lol and he use to race mini's. The man just love them and he talks about Carb's tuning and how difficult their can be tuning or configuring to run properly, especially with cams. But you know, its the same with injection using injectors. Getting the spray pattern and atomisation. LOL. The world changes, but still the same :)
