Japanese Top Mount Intercoolers - What's Available ?

Postby Mo_GT » Fri Apr 06, 2007 1:27 pm

Hey All,
I'm just having a look around to see what Japanese TMIC's are available for the GT. I could only find one - ARC, anyone know of any others?

Thanks :)

Bye,
Mo

Anyone knows the price for the HKS unit and can it be fitted without mods to the engine cover?

i wouldn't be surprised if you're looking at around $2k+ for the HKS intercooler. based on the pics of the HKS kit it looks alot longer than the stock cooler so engine cover will need to be modified. they do sell the hks carbon cover, but you're probably looking at another $500 for that. tommy kaira goes for something ridiculous like $4k.

yeah mrt are selling for like 1.5k. just beware that intercooler on 2.5T is different from 2.0T.

.

talk to the phat guy. i think he said last time the american intercoolers (perrin etc) fit the the aus spec ej25t. if you look at the tmic on the ej20t and ej25t you notice that the inlet piping is different, so i guess you kinda limited to the choice of bigger tmic.

Any of the tmic for the USDM GT will fit the 07 2.5GT. You probably have more choicewith the 2.5 than with the 2.0.
