What do you mean by OK?
Will it be loud? - yes by all means.
Will it sound good? - probably not (unless you like raspy/farty exhaust notes)
Will it do damage? - doubtful, but you'd want to get your car on the dyno to see just how much it affects AF ratios by opening up the exhuast
Will it be cheap? - should be, it will only be straight pipe - mufflers are the expensive part!
Will it GAIN you performance? - probably a little in the top end, nothing in the low end. Tune is the best bang for buck on the 2.0T

hope this helps your decision a little.

by ok i mean the point above that you mentioned like will it effect the engine or the cars mechanics.

power i am not really looking for its more then enough for day to day driving so love the sound of straight pipe.

tuning i might do later in the life of the car..

thanks though

If you're only looking for a "weekend" solution, then take off the rear mufflers and let it dump out the Y pipe. See how you like the sound then if you REALLY want you can pay to have 2 straight pipes made up to replace the mufflers.
Note, you'll still have the centre resonator in the factory centre pipe so it MAY just keep the raspiness away. THIS I would be keen to hear the youtube vid of ;)

14mm spanners to remove the bolts holding the muffler pipe onto the y pipe and some WD40 to lubricate the muffler hanger on the hanger rubber. Will be easier if the rear of the car is a bit higher than usual too

With an exhaust like the one in the video it would only be a weekend car, one weekend and it'd be off the road. :ninja: - not
