A'PEXi seems to be best bang for buck. If you're loaded, get the Blitz carbon kit, but paying eight times the price of the A'PEXi kit won't give any extra performance.

ahh... nice one...

so the 'kit' comes with everything required to hook it up to a Lib turbo? or are extra parts required?

I that a bov pipe (a1.jpg) on the intake side or was that a different setup from a1.jpg to b1.jpg?

If you wanting a pod set up, I'd go Apexi... But if you wanting a panel filter, I'd say HKS is your best bet :D

Both will give you a performance gain (Pod should give you more of course) & both will give you some induction noise (Pod obviously more again :P)

Remember, depending on what state your in, you may have to look at boxing the pod (AVO sell a box kit)... So the pod set up would be significantly more expensive, especially with the current AUD / Yen.

LOL! It's personal preference, just like wheels. Sure you could get cheap wheels for your Liberty, or you could get expensive wheels (from Japan for example). And more expensive wheels don't necessarily mean better performance. Just different looks.

Everything you need will come in the kit. a1 was from an ST205 Celica GT-Four; b1-2 was from a GC8 WRX, if I remember correctly - or it might have been a GDB.

Actually the Blitz Carbon Kit will give you a huge performance increase..

If you get pulled over by the boys in blue and your running the Apexi, you can / will get defected for having an exposed air filter.. where as the Blitz is a fully enclosed unit

Impounded car Vs Car on the road.. I know which one goes quicker ;)

Depends on which state and what EPA legislation. Victoria EPA laws state that as long as the filter is a dry element filter and the engine is EFI, it doesn't need to be enclosed.
It pays to be 100% sure of legislation before doing modifications.
