Took a risk recently and bought an 04 Liberty GT from Greys Online
The engine has an obvious head issue as there is coolant in the oil and some white smoke just started to appear. However, knowing this is head-related I know it's time to get the head off and shimmed etc.
The scary thing for me was the "Stone in a tin can" noise that it developed 30 mins before it shut itself down on the roadside.
Does anyone know if this could be because the oil/water combo got too much it started valve noise? or could it be more sinister?
A bit concerned...
