E85 Swap.

Hey lads, I've got a 2004 GT and wanting to go E85. I spoke with Matt (KiDo tuning) a while ago regarding what items to change out bare minimum for the swap, long story short he gave me a list, and I got all the parts.

I'm not a complete noob, but doing your own engine stuff is scary, so I was trying to suss out the best way to do this. I since came across and old top feed conversion tutorial here: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/diy-mods-and-installations/234601-how-side-top-feed-conversion.html. Can anyone with experience tell me how accurate that is for the 2.0T we have in our libs. I feel like it should be very similar if not identical to that method (Same EJ20 as the WRX right, I should probably look that up). Only thing i'm really unsure about is the TGVs, does the 2004 lib even have them? Or is it build dependant and I have to look up some serials?

For completeness sake i'll list parts:
- Sard Fuel Regulator
- Kobe Motorsport 265 l/ph pump + fuel filter
- Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors kit (+fuel rails and braided lines)
- eBay FPR adaptor

If i'm missing anything please let me know or any huge oversights please hound me on it, I don't want to go blowing up my car now.

Thanks guys.

Injectors are differnt unless you're going to a top Fred conversion

Preface Gt didn't have tgv's

Fuel pump is same

Good luck

I have top feed fuel rails and 1000cc injectors with fuel pump to match increased flow, so that's all covered. And yes, that's what I wanted to hear. I didn't think I had TGV's, awesome, makes it a bit easier.

Thanks a lot mate.
