I just called up Denlo Subaru and asked for a quote on how much this would cost... $1005.24 DAMN!

Also advised that this probably still will not fix the idling issue, they called it engine surging.

Mate it's all sorted now eh

What a bunch of tossers.

At least you can have someone who is better than almost everyone working on it.

After talking to Subaru Australia about all the mishaps i have had with two of their servicing departments they finally came to the party.
New injectors were installed today and she runs like a dream!!!!!!

So the next time you complain about your rough idle to your Subaru servicing department don't accept the BS of "thats normal for a boxer motor"

i must say Subaru Australia dont muck around, problem was handled professionaly and promptly.

Mik, that is great news, the idle issue is so bloody annoying!

I know cause I had it on mine for AGES!

Just some feedback I got from some other ppl other then Subaru and I thought I might share it.

When I contacted Denlo Subaru (third and last time about the engine idle) they confirmed it was not the injectors.. now I don't know if this is BS or not.. but thats what I was told. Also another guy known for his Subie knowledge was Paul Fisher of Pulse Racing @ Menai, he says that in all his career working on Subie's (don't know how long that is) he has never seen a GT have faulty injectors...

Anyways, Subaru couldn't find what it was.. so I had to go outside Subaru and they found it was a faulty 02 Front Sensor, even though it was working, the reading it gave was not right.... but that part was replaced and my car now idle's as it should..

Just an FYI for anyone that might have this issue and might want to look elsewhere if Subaru don't come to the party.
