Crank Angle Sensor Infrequent Issue

Hey guys,
Approximately once a month, when I go to start the car, it cranks but never turns.
I then unplug the crank angle sensor connector and reattach it, which then results in the car starting smoothly and operating fine.
I guess this points to an electrical / connector issue caused by it coming loose due to vibrations?
When I inspect the connector whilst it can't turn, it seems seated correctly.
When I reattach it, it makes a noticeable 'click' and seats firmly.
Any ideas on the issue?
Could there be a singular pin thats having a contact issue or maybe the wire has been bent too sharply that at a certain position it causes an issue? (I guess me wiggling the wire rather than unplug and plugging it in can determine whether this is the case)
