issue with my liberty gt tuned by sti

hey guys, a little help/advice please
i just bought a 2006 liberty gt tuned by sti this afternoon, took it out for a little drive tonight and on the way back home just driving along quite reasonably and heard a whooshing/whirring sound which continues to build as you accelerate
not that i know what to look for, but had a quick look under the bonnet to see if anything had come loose, i'm hoping its just a loose hose from the turbo or wastage?? or something, hopefully not more serious than that
any feedback appreciated
