2005 Liberty GT - Rough/Surging Idle/Running Rich

Hey guys,

So my Liberty has just had a CAI and BOV installed, i have diff back straight pipes as well.

Noticed lately when i rev the car, it takes a big fall down to about 400 revs and feels like its about to stall.
Have checked all my air hoses, seems like the MAF is fine and i have cleaned it.
Thinking 02 sensor possibly?

Still drivable but is running rich and very, very annoying.
Just want it fixed!

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Luke.

Get rid of the CAI unless you get a tune to go along with it. MAF scaling may be incorrect causing the stumbling and rich condition.

If all was ok before and this has occurred, get a pressurised test and check for leaks. But many checks will be needed too.

If you can do a log.

Got rid of the CAI and exhaust.
Just running it with the stock air box but still no changes.

Was running rich even when it was completely stock.

Any other suggestions?

check the vac line, the braided mesh type one. Mine was loose and had a poor idle etc
