Have 5k to spend making 150kw at the moment, pretty much stock. I am hoping to get a bit more out of it.

Bought it with the following things done to it:
MRT XA Kit
Aftermarket Exhaust (unknown brand)
ECUTEK type 2 tune
Anti lift kit

I don't know a much about mods at all, all i know is i have 5k to spend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Don't take it back to MRT
If you you a dump pipe already, then good, if not, get one.
Kinugawa TD04HLA-19T
FPR
Fuel pump
TMIC
Tune from someone else - eg. Matt/Kido
Shockworks.
Whiteline LCA.

That should do you to 200kw on 98, and handle like a champ. Might be a smidge more than 5k, but depends on various parts.

Might as well get the 20T if bothering to get a replacement turbo from Kinugawa.

Won't unlocking the ECU cost a few hundred too.

Cheers for the advice.

And reliability on this sort of setup? Is it okay?

Plus 1 to what Matt said....and I'm pretty sure that Kido can remove an ECUTEK tune..

Reliability should be fine - I also forgot, silicon inlet pipe and throttle body hose.
19t if auto, 20t if manual.
My car exploded at 227 kw on e85 when the fuel pump failed - other than the rod destruction, the engine was in perfect health, even on stock head bolts.

Edit: and yes, Matt has removed literally hundreds of ecutek tunes.

Cheers again for the help.

I'm in Adelaide, any recommendations on what garage to go to? I'm currently with S&J but I'm assuming they will lead me down the MRT path.
If I was to do this in stages, go for a TMIC first and then go from there? Would I need to upgrade anything at the same time as that?

S&J are sweet, they wont peddle any MRT stuff on you if you don't want it. Just do what most people do, buy your parts and install yourself, dump pipe, exhaust, tmic are easy as to install. Then get it tuned after.
