I wanted to know too but it's confusing lol. Some say stock is 10psi and some others say 15psi is standard.

I'm waiting for my cubbypod and boost gauge to arrive to fit my boost gauge and then I'll know 100% But then after the tune its going stage 2 & around 17-18psi :)

Stock psi in AUS..10psi sounds about right.. Just remember in the USA, jdm & adm might be different. The adm had slight changes in the ecu settings. .

Normally getting a stage 1 tune is how your car should of arrived but nearly every car in AUS is detuned from factory.

That's why basic exhaust & air intake mods with a tune makes all cars wake up.

Note that pre-facelift USDM is a totally different engine and turbo and isn't worth comparing.

stage whatever is american garbage. "stage 1" is usually just a tune, maybe a dump, but the problem with it is there's no standard meaning.

Yeah I will update on here either way once my pod and cubbypod holder arrive. But it could be 14.5.

Reading online it says WRX has 15.5psi stock and the STI 14.5 psi. I thought the STI should have more boost stock.

LOL yeah same as GT game on the consoles with cheat codes on.

My tuner offers stage 1 & 2 for the same price.

Some performance shops offer stage 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc...

Normally its
1=zorst + tune
2=zorts + intake + up the boost & tune
3=Intercooler, injectors, pump, turbo upgrade, CAI , zorts, tune
4= Engine upgrade + the above
5= how deep is your wallet
.
.
6=just buy a bike

The t0ssers at MRT has package deals like stage 1 2 3 4 5

EZY flash tune has stage 1 or 2 like the cobb.

If your bothered to watch this link please. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbmG2YiyqSk

^^
Its just MCM, They take A stock forester place it on the dyno & I think it has 120kw stock then he takes it to a zorts shop full 3" turbo back and it lost power on the dyno HAHAHA

Then they do the ezy flash stage 1 and hits 144kw on the dyno.

In the link the ezy flash has options

stage 1 is 98 fuel + 15psi boost + zorts

stage 2 is 98 fuel + 18psi boost + zorts + CAI + intercooler or other mods just keep adding them on and tune it your self.

Plug and play it looks like fun

Comparing boost across engines and turbo setups is a fools game. Boost is a measure of restriciton, not flow.

I'm just shocked to know that Subaru come out with high boost from factory and they run great...All my old cars like the nissan 200sx r32 r33 hand like 7psi-10psi & I thought anything over 10psi was bad back then lol

OMG I think i will get semi hard0ns every time I hit boost if I had your car lol 307kw is crazy
