Hi guys

Car recently had a rough idle (misfire was running) so I got the sparks and coils changed now the car doesn't run properly. It idles really rough and when changed into drive its chokes and wont go. Got the o2 sensors changed over also as scan tool picked it up but it wont run properly after.

The car is complete stock asides from swapping out an old turbo for a used factory one. Any ideas, suggestion, advice is really appreciated as the car has been off the road for 2 weeks and its my only daily runner.

Check for any intake leaks. Check extremely thoroughly. Loose/ disconnected hoses, any splits in the hoses/ piping.

thanks, ive checked for intake leaks, damaged hoses or pipping very thoroughly and havent been able to find anything.

I have done a strip of the turbo to see its condition and its got a play in it so ill have to find another turbo before i can get back to the rough idle/ misfire

Did the screen get taken out of oil feed line before fitting the new turbo? because if it is blocked it will damaged the new turbo, I have a couple of factory Twinscroll TD04HLA off the manual version Gt, it is a good upgrade for the VF38, I also have a new Kinugawa catridge for the Vf38 turbo, give me a ring if you still have not sorted out your problem.

Chocking rough idle...Try cleaning your maf or just replace the maf
