So, did a downpipe decat a few weeks ago and there's a definate whistle present that starts just before getting positive boost pressure and stays around just after when giving it medium to light acceleration. Hard to identify whistle from other noises at higher rpms/load. Does this sound normal at all for a decat. Been trawling the net and there seems to be just as many threads with people saying its normal for a decat as there are ones saying there's a problem.
Have tried pressurising the intake and has no audible leaks too.
Been trying to record the noise with the Gopro but it seems to struggle to pick up the whistle and overdoes all other present sounds.

Sounds like a boost leak

Zorst leak? Try soapy water spray on the dump etc on cold start...

Cheers Benny. I'll give the exhaust a go. My initial thoughts were boost leak but i'm fairly certain i've been pressurising the intake correctly and nothing has shown up. Learning view tables aren't really any different to how they usually look either.

Nothing really showed up as being an obvious leak other than the midpipe flex gasket had a few drops of water come through when cold which I guess means it isn't a very good seal if water can get through. Nothing from the downpipe split gasketor the downpipe-turbo one.

So after leak check number 10,000 i'm still not seeing any leaks.
Noticed this whilst giving it a bit of throttle from idle when stationary. Is this, almost chuff noise, normal for drive by wire setups when quickly going from idle throttle opening to roughly 30% open. Almost sounds like a leak but wouldn't really know.
