Fitted pod filter intake setup....issues now

Postby lucasryanmartin » Mon Feb 16, 2015 5:46 pm

Hey guys, fitted a pod filter with a MAF adapter onto my car on the weekend and now it bogs down heaps when I put my foot down, it also seems to back fire a little aswell....whats the go here? Have no issues with standard airbox fitted.

What pod filter and MAF adapter did you get? if the MAF is now in a different position then this will cause issues.....But most importantly...

Did you get the car tune after you fitted the new pod filter? If you havent...then thats why it is causing the issues ....

MAF scaling is but one of many things that need to be re scaled.....

If you keep driving it the way you do ...and drive it hard especially...you can be sure to have engine problems.....BOOM TIME anyone?

I'll upload a photo

Yeah figured it'd just be freaking out due to too much air. Might just put but the air box back in and refit when I fit bigger injectors down the track (will get a tune at that point)

Thanks man.
