Hi guys, just wanted to discuss and see what ideas people have for cracking the 300hp (225kw) at the wheels figure for a 5EAT.
For this discussion it would be nice if the ideas catered for the following criteria:
1. Car would still be good as a daily
2. Quick spool for drivability, being a 5EAT would probably never see past 4500rpm (maybe preferably staying twin-scroll, also helps for point 6)
3. Use normal 98 octane fuel
4. 0-100km/h in less than 4.7s (or maybe just under 5s if 4.7s is too optimistic)
5. Quarter mile in under 13s (could be too optimistic here also)
6. Minimal modifications (or as few parts required to purchase as possible)
The criteria and ideas above might be a bit whacky or contradictory, so happy for people to discuss if anything is not possible. Maybe more than 300hp is required?
