2.5 intercooler fit a 2.0?

Postby leigh » Mon Oct 27, 2014 10:55 pm

Is the intercooler off a 2.5 bigger than the 2.0 and does it fit on a 2.0?

Which city are you in? If you are chasing an upgrade to your TMIC, I coincidentally may be able to help you out ....

Feel free to PM if you are interested.

Thanks guys. Found out the 2.5 won't fit, it's a direct bolt onto the turbo. I have PM'ed.

Ended up getting a Hyperflow TMIC off a fellow member.

Fitment was so easy, took me twenty minutes start to finish. What a great product that fits to the standard intake pipes and factory mounting brackets with no issue.

I already have one.

This is actually the Mrs' car which I drive occasionally, after getting out of my 430 odd kw XR6 Turbo I started modding this one here and there just to have it not feel so damn slow :D

With just a tune they certainly are a lot quicker than stock, no top end though with the little turbo.
