5EAT 2.0T upgrade path

Postby JMlegacy » Thu Sep 25, 2014 9:19 am

So right now my car with a vf34 turbo is at 180KW at the wheels and i'm looking to get more power out of it without sacrificing too much bottom end.

I'm achieving that at 90 octane AKI,

So far I've considered a P20 housing VS methanol injection VS another turbo altogether

What do you guys have to say

P.S
where is my big bro DR20T ?

I'm considering slapping on a forged 2.5 bottom with my 2.0 quad avcs on top.

Anyone ever done this?

But that was a complete 257 right?

This one would be a hybrid, so i'm sure of the behaviour

Chook
Sean Davies did(forget his username but I think it is his name)

2.5L on 2L heads deshrouds the valves for better swirl but obviously the combustion chamber shape is not iptimal for a 2.5L bore

Was thinking of slapping on some EJ207 Heads instead with intake only AVCS.
