Fuel consumption increased

Postby tkdbboy » Tue Sep 02, 2014 2:08 pm

Hey guys,

In the past 3 tanks worth I've noticed my average fuel consumption go up by around 3L/100km. (11L /100 -> 14L / 100)

My driving hasn't changed, nor have I made any modifications to the car recently.

I have a 2006 Liberty STi.

Has anyone had this issue?

I have an ECU datascan so are there any readings I should be monitoring that would help diagnose the problem?
Would resetting my ECU potentially fix this?

Thanks heaps!

a LV (learning view) may be a better option to see how the car is behaving...

This happened to my car a while back. The problem I had was a faulty front O2 sensor. You might want to check that.
