Yeah that was 20T but the 19T would be exactly the same I imagine, it's only got a different compressor wheel. I'll put pics up when I get the chance.
You fitting yours yourself? You get the 20T?

Dammit! I missed the postie by 30 mins today. But at least its sitting there waiting for me to collect. I ended up getting the 19T with a 0.5 bar actuator.

I wish I had the skills to fit it myself so I'm getting the local garage to fit it for me for $400... well that's what they said according to the books. Which I think is better than the $550 some other places have quoted me. And I've just been told that I would need to replace the o2 sensor as well, which will be fun :(

Slowly chipping away at this. New pump is in now and dump pipe on. Currently have inlet manifold off so I can wash the oil out of it from the blown turbo and fit the silicone intake while it's off.
Won't be going this weekend unfortunately because everything is quite brittle so I'm replacing a few hoses and the coolant sensor plug feel into a heap of bits when I pulled it off so need to source a new one. Hoping to refit the manifold tomorrow then source a new plug on Monday and have it going then. Gets frustrating when it drags out.

Well I'm at a bit of a loss at the moment. Everything back together, load the new tune on, take it for a drive and it's only hitting 8psi. Thought maybe the line to the boost controller was crimped so ran a line straight from the t-piece to the controller and its still the same. Next step I took the line straight off the t-piece and went for a spin and it's still only getting to 11psi (this is with an open bleed on the waste gate line). So I completely disconnected the wastegate and it finally boosts, but still only up to around 18psi. I was expecting it to go straight to boost cut.

No idea what's causing the lack of boost. The only thing I can think of is that the wastegate spring is too weak and opening too easily. Any other ideas? Don't want to wreck the motor free boosting it to find the issue as the ECU wouldn't know what's going on.

Thinking next step is to probably upgrade all the wastegate lines so they can flow better to assist air getting to the boost controller.

Do these normally have a restrictor pill before the wastegate to encourage flow to the boost controller?

Have you checked the wastegate itself to make sure its not sticking open?

It comes on boost normally, just won't make enough. I think I might run the wastegate hose up from the compressor housing to just off the boost solenoid, then back to the wastegate to encourage the bleed off a little more. I'll put more pre-load on the actuator too.

Base tune has low WGDC to ensure it is not the 15psi spring ;)

Its only a base tune for that reason, send me logs and I can refine the WGDC tables from there :)

Thanks mate, boost all hooked back up (although favouring the boost controller) and holding a flat 10psi through the rev range. Trying to find a problem when there isn't one

Small update on this thing. Been driving around for the last few weeks, had a few things slow the tuning down which was my fault. The cams weren't moving which was fixed with an oil change, then there was a big air leak from a hose I forgot to reattach that runs under the inlet manifold, and then I hadn't changed swapped the restrictor pill over to the new wastegate line. Hopefully will be able to provide some feedback on the turbo soon once tuning is completed. It's nice and responsive in everyday driving which makes the car feel nice and torquey.
Going to Jamboree this weekend and Powercruise the next so won't be able to run it down the quarter for a few more weeks.

Cheers, is making good boost now, just got to get some more logs tonight.
Did you end up taking yours down the strip?

Had another hold up with me not swapping the little black spacer over from the old pump to the new one, resulting in lean outs under boost due to lack of fuel pressure. I'm genuinely surprised I haven't killed it yet.

The car is now running really strong with one of Kido's tunes on it. Haven't quite finished the tuning but tonight it pulled 239g/s @ 14psi, still with just a dump pipe and silicone intake as the other mods.

Anyone know what g/s a stock turbo is able to pull for a comparison? I have no idea about this stuff but have heard it can be used as an indication of power.

Check injector duty. Find a table of injector duty at 43.5psi fuel pressure, should give a rough idea of output at flywheel.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.
