CV Joints

Hi,
I have a few questions about buying the right cv joints for my car. I have a 2004 Subaru Liberty GT manual (BL) and my cv joints make a lot of noise. One of the cv joints are leaking so I will replace them myself. I found a few cheap new cv joints that fit: "Subaru Liberty 4 CYL New CV joint Drive Shaft 03/03-10/08 ABS on shaft"
I emailed the company and asked if they will fit my car and they replied saying that as long as its a 4 cyl and the abs is on the shaft and not in the hub then it'll fit.

So does anybody know where my abs sensor is?

Or does anybody suggest any better deals/ products?

Thanks Sam

So you're looking at replacing the whole driveshaft?

My comment is go OEM and nothing else, reconditioned is cheapest if your current cv joint is buggered.

I've had first hand experience with an aftermarket driveshaft that caused issues

I don't know a great deal about cv joints but I saw a mechanic/ suspension specialist and he quoted me $200 each for cbc cv joints which is a good aftermarket brand. I was gonna buy some on ebay for $85 each and have a go myself to save some money as I'm a student but you might have changed my mind haha

OEM would be a ridiculous price? I would not want to go recon

I worked for a&f driveshafts in richmond and subaru was one of there main customers. Brand new are from subaru but when subaru has to change one they order a new unit from a&f driveshafts. $75 for change overs for a brand new single unit or $150 for non swap over
