Car having problems Revving, misfire, not passing 6000

In xmas my car broke a timing belt and the belt came up through the cover, bending the belt gaurd and the crank sensor.
My mechanic hammered the belt guard and reused it

Now i'm getting misfire going over 5,000RPM

It is revving almost like this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGEtNohE ... r_embedded

I replaced the crank sensor twice and still same symtoms. I'm wondering if the oil pump bracket that holds the sensor may be bent out of place by the belt incident?

Could this belt guide that was twisted causing problem? The belt guide is the golden looking piece. The tooth is the crank timing gear.

I replaced it and it is very smooth now. From idling to 7000RPM
