IT WAS THE DAMN SPROCKET
who could have known.... I didn't even know the rebuilder welded it.

I replaced it and it is very smooth now. From idling to 7000RPM

Was good when I changed it, problem solved for sure but...
As soon as i got to a road i spun bearing again. A sound i was hearing and was taking it for bad tensioner was really a spun bearing.
Took it to another shop this time. Fuck me!

This time I'm getting a used short block. The short block has a different piston in it. It has HSB written on it's face and a lower CR because of it's dish. here is a pic:

Dammit the sh*t workshops pull and think they can get away with!
When it seems that EJ's are very much a precision job to get right stock let alone a performance build...
