MISFIRE MISFIRE!

Postby JMlegacy » Tue Dec 03, 2013 12:34 am

I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

Car is misfiring at idle and into boost as well. It's intermittent.
I've tried changing coils, cleaning OCV.

EVerytime I feel the jerk(misfire) i see the left intake AVCS degree go from 0 to 1*
Now sure what that means.

Next on my list is to gap my plugs to a generous 0.26.

Anything else I can check guys?

At around 800rpm with under 0.5g/rev in the Intake AVCS table, what values are you using?

Re: MISFIRE MISFIRE! - Solved

4 degrees

PROBLEM SOLVED
Solved the misfire issue

I had some old iridium plugs and the garage decided to gap them to .023
Upon pulling the plugs out we noticed that one of the plugs was cracked. :-/

Now IDK if the gapping fixed it or replacing the cracked plug.

CAR PULLS SO HARD NOW
