BOOST prolems

Hi guys,

Just wanting to pick some brains on where to go from here, I recently had my turbo go and had it rebuilt with a new core and a full service from my local subaru sepcialist.
I drove the car for the first time this morning only to find that when you load the throttle it comes on boost then drops off and on all the way through the rev range. If i floor it I cant notice it but under pretty much all normal driving conditions you can hear feel and see (tac)
the boost and revs coming on and off.
Has any one had this issue before or know where to look.
I'm getting really frustrated with the wagon as lately it's just one thing after the other......

Any help would be much appreciated guys

Boost leak, check all the intercooler hoses are tight

Ok,

so smoke tested it and there are no intercooler or manifold leaks, the mechanic working on it had removed the factory boost conrtoller from the mix and it runs normal then connected the actuator to a pump and again it was ok.
Reconnected the boost cont as it was and again it will not hold boost and is going up and down by 5-6psi.

The only thing that has changed it the turbo being re built and re installed back to factory spec with a new core.

I'm at a loss to know where to go next, the only thing I can think of is if the actuator is bouncing around as it might not be the one that was on the turbo that was romoved?

Any one got any further ideas???

Pulled the heat shield off the turbo only to find that the wastegate actuator is not adjustable!
So that's my last idea of what it could be out the window........

Any one any ideas at all??

Might have to try oxy sensor and another boost solenoid????

Are the hoses from boost controller to turbo and actuator connected correctly with restrictor pill still in correct location? If everything is functioning normally with factory boost solenoid out of the loop then personally I'd expect the problem to be related to that piping.

Found a couple of small problems, one of which is a faulty factory boost solenoid

Thanks guys for your ideas and post replies, very helpful when your loosing your mind over a fault!

Emmmmm are the lines from increase operator to turbocompresseur and actuator linked properly with restrictor tablet still in appropriate location? If everything is performing normally with manufacturer increase solenoid out of the cycle then individually I'd anticipate the issue to be relevant to that pipes....
