HKS Hybrid Panel Filter

Postby Blue Dragoon » Tue Apr 08, 2008 10:40 pm

I had a WRX Wagon with one fitted, was very impressed. Dry, three layer and ready to go. I have now managed to get one for the WR Ltd :D

It's the same as the JDM S-GT Impreza. Anyone else using these?

I think half the members of this forum have one installed. :D

Edit: Is this different from the bright green hybrid filter I'm thinking of?

This panel filter sounds very interesting. My car is pretty much stock so I would interested in acquiring one of these if they are indeed available for the Liberty.

How is that in terms of increased noise?

Jim you can hear the air induction now and the factory bov but only really in 1-2-3 gears and its actually louder when in sport mode as opposed to sport +

I like it and its stock as under the bonnet. Good butt dyno factor for me and no downside to date. Checked the filter the other day after three months and its still clean as.

Hmm, I might give it a try. Especially if it only involves removing something rather than buying a replacement.
