05 GT Diff Oil?

Postby TheKidd » Fri Aug 23, 2013 1:07 pm

Hi all, just picked up a 05 GT with 102k on the clock a few months ago.

Already did the engine oil change the moment I got it, but thinking of doing the diff/gb this weekend.
Anything special I should know before I change my diff/gb oils?
What oil brand and viscosity does everyone use/recommend?
Anything to avoid?

Thanks guys~

Assuming manual..

Castrol Multitrax for the gearbox, plus a big tube of Nulon G70
Castrol EPX 90/140 for the rear diff

I would use either:

Motul expensive - Gear FF-LSD TYPE 2 75W90
Castrol outrageous - Syntrax 75W90
NEO unusual - NEO RPS 75w90HD

All very good and all probably around $25-$35 litre...... :D
