I wanted to question my fuel economy also??

I've only had the car 2 weeks, I have filled up a week ago and have done 150kms and almost at half tank. :?:

I have had the major 100000km service done last week and the fuel meter shows lower now. It showed before the service: 10-11km per L at approx 2000RPM & now it shows 5-6km per L at approx 2000RPM. As soon as i put the foot down, the meter drops to 1.5 - 2 km per L.
Is this correct??
I mean, shouldn't the change of timing belt, spark plugs & air filter, help with the economy?

What's a KiDO tune, how much and where can one be done in Melbourne?

I get about 520-550km from a tank out of my stock 05GT, most driving is to/from work (a little bit though town but mostly 60-90km/h on main roads). Average according to the dask is usually about 9l/100km.
