500km to fuel light (BP 98, car is stock with KiDo tune) thats with probably 50/50 highway/stop start, with plenty of 'spirited' driving.

What is a KiDo tune? Where did you get it? What did it improve? How much did it cost?

Improves fuel economy and general drivability including removal of the accelerator pedal lag (especially with the Auto which you also have)

Got 800km to full tank of 98 - highway driving mostly with occasional drop back to 4th and squirt past slow cars in 2 way outback motorway roads
trip meter got down to 7.0L/100KM... avg like 7.6~8.

[edit: i have a MY05; my trip meter reads opposite to MY04.. my 7.0L/100KM is different to your readout i believe)

Used to get 520-530kms on BP98 with mods - that was driving for say 15-20kms after fuel light came on

Then when I switched to eflex I was getting 400 odd

Will be lucky to get 300km out of a full tank of eflex I think with the new setup

But at 1.13 a litre who's whinging? ;)

I used to get around 420-440 kms a tank with the stock alloy setup (17 inches, 215 and stock tune). Ever since I changed to Ultrex 18 inchers with 225/40 potenzas few weeks ago, I've had 5 tank ups before 400, the worst being 350 kms when the lights came on. All with 90% urban driving. Now, not saying that the tyre upgrade has got anything to do with it nor complaining; it could well be spirited driving "circumstances" :). But looking to get a tune done from Matt, hopefully who will come to Melbourne soon. Getting "7.1 km/L" according to the dash.
