You have an ej20y or ej20x if manual

Congrats on getting it sorted.

Just wondering where you found the boost leak? :D

Found it underneath the turbo to intercooler elbow hose.

I'm thinking of upping the boost to 19psi and live with that.
After I sort out my mysterious elusive coilpack ussues

Those damn leaks!

Good luck with the coil issues.
:D

Solved the misfire issue

I had some old iridium plugs that we decided to gap to 0.023 (0.58mm) and run them in the car.
Upon pulling the plugs out we noticed that one of the plugs was cracked. :-/

Now IDK if it was the gapping that fixed it or was the replacing of the cracked plug.

CAR PULLS SO HARD NOW

You do not need massive boost to get the engine singing. DR20T's pump fuel retune shows that

Send link please.
I've never really understood how a bigger fuel pump helps if my AFR in the power band is right where it should be.

What he means is my pump fuel (98 Ron) retune

Was previously making 196 with 19psi. When Matt retuned it made 218 on 16.5psi

OK. Bunch of things to update.
First of all I Still consider myself new to tuning. I had my tuner create the map from which I'm modifying this.

Secondly, I finally accept that 2nd gear wont hit boost targets in upper Rpm.
In 3rd it wasn't really hitting the target thought it was closer.
I narrowed down the zone in the MAX table by changing the RPM and WGDC% targets
This is what I ended up with.

And here is the log from tonight, climbing a 27* slope hill up to 160km/h @ 6500RPM (got cautious, had to lift, dazzling light)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx7ipk ... sp=sharing

I'm going to remove a degree of timing in the load cells where u see the -2 first occurred

In the Log my VE was dropping off near the end. Dropped to 89%. Any thoughts on that?

VF34 should be hitting boost targets in in all gears. Even in first.

    Seriously??

Hold boost to redline in first?

That sounds like it would compromise the higher gears and cause over boosting?

KIDO where are you?

1st gear compensation table... you can actually overboost delibrately to get engine load up in 1st gear. Boost is inlet manifold restriction not amount of air in the cylinder.

You are also losing tuning resolution by having the same values in the first 4 rows of WGDC with same values. Could use 2400rpm in the top row and all values below 2400rpm have that value ;) Same concept with the throttle table as well, Could have the 83.3% in far right column and then everything above 83.3% has same target ;) That would allow you to have say 0%, 11.9%, 23.8, 35.7, 47.6, 59.5, 71,4, 83.3 as your columns and then put say -10 in all the 0% column with a -9 at top left for idle ;) Those current values are targetting 4.54psi at idle and gives a lot of throttle tip in boost error.
PLUS the Max WGDC has a lot more potential

Thanks KIDO

Made some adjustments but I also learn about the effects of altitude because I logged in two different areas.
I could maintain boost and airflow at the first location but the other one i could not. 230g/s vs 244. 15.2 psi vs 16.5psi
There is a 1500ft or so difference in altitude, I'm at 2200ft ASL at the highest point.

THIS website calculates I could be losing as much as 20 bhp from my 310bhp estimate

Oh well, I think the tune is closed for now
