Today, i went to a friends workshop and tried to find the cause of my oil leak. It looked like it was coming from under the timing belt cover and so we investigated. After taking off the radiator and cover, there was no leak! **phew**
So we investigated the O rings in this piping
(thats not my photo, its mattblkGT's)
Tried to replace it, but the O rings we had were not sealing it properly (the OG one was square flat type and ours were round). So instead of trying to modify or force the wrong O ring in, we put everything back. Put all liquids back in then drove the car out to get cleaned.... and then i felt the POWER STEERING... It wasn't working.. Everything was put back in place. the Steering fluid was in, but when we turn the wheel, the liquid bubbled right out (open or close the thing overflowed out).. Can someone maybe help me figure this out? the P/S does come back in and out, and noticed that the P/S cuts out when the revs are high driving or standing still in neutral.
Any help would be awesome.
TL;DR I somehow managed to F up my power steering.
