So.... surely there's gotta be someone on here with a preface lifted Automatic gen4 running the twinscroll with a down pipe other than the Garage 88 units ??? :?

Im sure there are, but (from what i read in one of your other posts) you're best off waiting the extra month for G88 to make new ones!
You will be more than pleased :)

Id wait but it was a "maybe" have some in a months time. So it's not even definitive.. he's really busy. :(

Bruce has one for 2.5t.
the collector is separate - you'd possibly have the option of buying just the collector and getting your zorst shop to do the down pipe with your required cats, bungs etc, or just get the complete AVO collector and downpipe...

What's Bruce's alias on the forum if you don't mind me asking?

I'm thinking about getting the complete downpipe, saves the mucking around.
One thing I've noticed on the AVO website image of the downpipe is that there's only 1 02 sensor bung at the end of the pipe. However the 2.0L GT's have 2 sensors if I'm not mistaken. 1 just after the exhaust outlet of the turbo and one before the cat. converter.

AVO seems to only have 1 bung. ....

The AVO dump has a bung in the collector, and a bung in the down pipe for the stock O2 sensor (correct me if Im wrong...)

And the images may not necessarily be accurate for your model...

But you''ll have to do the research as I'm no preFL expert!

spoke to AVO and they do make one for the BP5 vf38 auto. Bit the bullet and placed an order. Pretty pricey though.
I hope it makes a massive difference to the performance like everyone has been saying. :? Otherwise its an expensive piece of piping.

In Japan they don't refer to different models as Gen 3, Gen 4 etc they identify models using chassis code, BE/BH, BL/BP and revisions, A, B, C, etc. For example what here is called a pre facelift Gen 4 2.0 wagon, is a BP5 Rev A-C. A post facelift 2.5 sedan would be a BL9 D-F. The letters correspond to each year of that revision. A-2004, B-2005, C-2006, etc. It's actually easy once you have it sussed. Clear as mud?
